F1 2018 showcases gameplay and new cars in launch trailers

F1 2018 Trailer

F1 2018  is coming out next week, and we’ve got some new gameplay footage to hype up the release.

The new trailer is a short one, but it’s not lacking on hype. As a short montage of what it’s like to climb the ladder to ultimate fame and success as an F1 racer, it’s pretty effective. And with the hyper-realism focus of this year’s game, there’s no doubt the team behind the game is looking to deliver an authentic racing experience.

“We are trying to get as close to the real world sport as possible in terms of visuals, simulation and the surroundings which make F1 such an incredible spectacle.  “We have an excellent relationship with F1 and the teams which is really bearing fruit and helping to improve the game in all areas.”

The game features 20+ cars and just as many tracks, so racing fans are spoiled for choice in terms of where and how to race in F1 2018. The game also has a variety of classic cars for racers to fool around with. The 2009 Brawn BPG-001 and the 2003 Williams FW25 are offered as a pre-order bonus. You’ll also be able to purchase the cars later down the road as standard, post-launch DLC. You can check out the trailer for those classic cars down below as well.

F1 2018 will launch on August 24, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Check out the launch trailer down below. You can also check out some previous gameplay footage of the game.
