There’s one last piece of DLC on the docket for Far Cry 5.
The open-world shooter is getting a zombies addon in Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies. The setting for this DLC is that the denizens of Hope County are shooting an action movies. There are seven individual scenes in this DLC, each one with different scripted scenes each with their own assets and settings that act as self-contained missions. The plot of this “movies” goes increasingly off-the-rails as you progress, so expect things to get weird very fast.
After completing each mission, players can unlock Score Attack to achieve 3-star ratings, which will unlock weapons and gear to bring back into the base game.
And as one would expect when paying for new content, the assets from this DLC will be unlocked in other modes beyond the story. The map-building mode Far Cry 5 Arcade will get more assets and scripting tools with this release.
