Warframe Guide: How to get the Paracesis

The Paracesis in Warframe is a powerful ally. This sentient blade is the favored weapon of Ballas, the Orokin Executor. It is a unique weapon in Warframe as it can continue to rank up past rank 30, moving into rank 40. This means that for relatively little resource investment, you can create a powerful melee option for any focused build.

This weapon is incredibly vicious and quick. The ferocity of it’s slicing through enemies is nearly unparalleled in Warframe. At the highest levels of it’s power, it’s one of the best melee weapons in the game. Don’t believe me? Check below for a video demo of the Paracesis in Warframe in action.

The weapon blueprint is given to the player at the end of the Chimera Prologue quest. As it is required to start the Erra quest, the Paracesis cannot be sold. With that out of the way, let’s go into some details. You will need MR 10 to craft and wield this weapon, so it’s a mid-game choice for most players.

Here are the resources you need to collect to get this incredibly great weapon:

  • 30000 Credits
  • 1000 Ducats
  • 1 Galatine
  • 5 Eidolon Shards
  • 15 Orokin Cells

The Galatine is the first thing you should focus on, as it’s the weapon that Paracesis is built upon. Look below for the rundown of the resources you need to craft that. You will also need Mastery Rank 3 to begin this process and craft Galatine.

  • 30000 Credits
  • 750 Salvage
  • 500 Rubedo
  • 200 Alloy Plate
  • 4 Gallium

And in case you were wondering here’s a a breakdown of the methods and locations to farm each and every material needed to build Paracesis in Warframe:

Rare Resources:

  • Ducats: Ducats can only be acquired by selling Prime blueprints, weapon parts and crafted Warframe components at the Void Trader’s Kiosks found in the Relays. These Prime parts and blueprints, in turn, are acquired from Void Relics, or from trading with other players.
  • Eidolon Shards: The Eidolon Teralyst, Gantulyst and Hydrolyst will drop one, three and five Eidolon Shards respectively regardless of whether they are killed or captured.
  • Gallium: Defeat Lech Kril (Mars, War) or Tyl Regor (Uranus, Titania) It can drop rarely on Mars and Uranus.
  • Orokin Cell: Defeat Lech Kril (Mars, War) or General Sargas Ruk (Saturn) for the best drop chance. Also found on Saturn, Ceres and Orokin Derelict.

Normal Resources:

  • Rubedo: Earth, Europa, Phobos, Sedna, Pluto and Orokin Void
  • Salvage: Mars, Jupiter and Sedna
  • Alloy Plate: Venus, Sedna, Jupiter, Ceres, Pluto and Phobos
