Star Wars fans have something new to be excited about this week. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the upcoming sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, may launch in early 2023. A leak has teased a release date, and fans should be excited.
That is according to the Twitter account PlayStation Game Size (via Eurogamer), which, predictably, tells people how big games will be on the platform. This is helpful for those of us gamers on limited bandwidth. And sometimes, in situations like this, they get an interest leak in terms of gameplay and release dates.
The game isn’t getting a set release date yet, but we know some details. For one thing, the game isn’t changing too much in terms of gameplay. Keeping with the gameplay style of the first game, Cal will be doing a lot of running and jumping. Also, we’re getting a similarly wide-scale release. The game will appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The most recent news we saw about the game was a rather impressive preview trailer, complete with a description. Cal must continue fighting against the Empire for the very survival of the
Jedi. Cal. BD-1 and co. have quite the journey ahead of them. Here’s the trailer and description:
“Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Accompanied by his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally himself with an array of unique and interesting characters on his journey. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.”
