After E3 2017, Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been riding high on it’s hype. And that train is going to keep on rolling after unknown persons datamined new content from the game files. Reddit users mined an alpha build of the game and found a partial roster of heroes based on character models.
We already knew that many of these characters were set to be included, either from their presence in 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront, or from the footage we’ve seen over the past few months. However, there are one or two surprises — here’s the full list, as it stands:

- Yoda
- General Grievous
- Darth Maul
- Rey
- Kylo Ren

- Iden Versio
The hero roster shows off that this new game will attempt to be more inclusive of the extended Star Wars universe, whereas the previous game focused on the original trilogy. The studio is also adding its own new ideas to the canon — the name Iden Versio is the name of the new campaign’s protagonist. Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17, 2017.
