How to get Reckless Endangerment in Destiny

How to get Reckless Endangerment in Destiny 2

Every season we have a new ritual weapon added to the game. Past ones include Ascendancy, Null Composure, and Salvager’s Salvo. These are meant to be a pinnacle of possible weapon rolls in the game. Reckless Endangerment is a Legendary Kinetic Shotgun with a Lightweight Frame mod, making it incredible at close range, thanks to the handling stat. Looking at the stats we have Impact 65, Range 48, Stability 42, Handling 68, Reload Speed 63, Rounds Per Minute 80, and Magazine 6. Now let’s talk in detail about this weapon, and how to get it.

How to get Reckless Endangerment in Destiny 2

Reckless Endangerment is a Ritual Weapon in Destiny 2 that can be acquired for reaching rank 16 through the Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit This gun can mostly be gained from grinding your way through these various game modes. You can choose your playlist to rank up in, and the choice is between Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. So that means you have some grinding ahead of you. It might take a while though, as the drop chance is restricted. You need to reach rank 16 through the various playlists to get the weapon as a rank reward.

Now, let’s talk about what kind of rolls we can expect.

Reckless Endangerment God Roll Guide

Being a Ritual weapon, there are only so many rolls you can find with this weapon. It always comes with the following:

  • Lightweight Frame – Move faster with this weapon
  • Full Choke – Reduces projectile spread when aiming down sights at the cost of precision damage
  • Assault Mag – Greatly increases stability, increases rate of fire

Beyond that, there’s a bit of variance in the rolls you can find for Reckless Endangerment in Destiny 2.

  • Perk 1  – Perpetual Motion or Steady Hands – Perpetual Motion gains a bit of a stat bonus when in motion, great for PvP. THe other option offers a minor handling bonus when kills are scored.
  • Perk 2 – Swashbuckler or Snapshot Sights – This weapon gains increased damage from melee kills and kills with this weapon/Faster time to aim down sights
  • Vanguard’s Vindication or One Quiet Moment or Invader Tracker – Getting a health boost from final blows is nice. The reload bonus out of combat from One Quiet Moment is helpful if for some reason you’re running this in PvE. The final perk is a bit useless outside of specific PvE situations, as damaging the Invader with this weapon marks them on the radar. These are your Origin Perks, so the mode you are playing when you hit rank 16 determines this one.

So considering these rolls, let’s look at what these options point to as the best use for the shotgun. Most players will want to use these perks and mods where they offer the most benefit. The gun has its strengths. Overall I would say it is a solid pick for any shotgun lover if you’re hoping to use it in PvP. The high stats make it pretty easy to keep shots on target, even at range.

Here are the best rolls you should hope for in PvE:

  • Lightweight Frame
  • Full Choke
  • Assault Mag
  • Steady Hands
  • Snapshot Sights
  • Invader Tracker

Here are the best rolls you should hope for in PvP:
