With a much more unique approach to gameplay and item management in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the game has some very confusing twists in store for long-time franchise fans. The new systems can be pretty confusing, so here’s some help if you need it. Like previous games, there’s new things to tackle as well. Players have to be quick with learning about things like new move Styles, Pokéball crafting and more.
After you successfully calm the Noble Kleavor in the Obsidian Fieldlands, you’ll start receiving notifications of random Space Time Distortions spawning all over the map. You need to head out to check on this stuff. This marks the beginning of the endame in this new Switch title. The locations will be spawning in a few different regions, so finding them won’t be too hard. You can even see the distortions nearby by looking out over the horizon. when you see a giant pink bubble over the landscape, there’s a distortion in that zone.
You need to rush toward that zone, as you’re on a time limit. Five minutes after first appearing the distortion will activate. Once that happens, it’s time to head in and quell the disturbance. Once that timer expires, the disturbance shifts to a much more menacing color, and random powerful spawns start occurring.
What is a Space Time Distortion in Pokemon Legends Arceus?
The biggest reason to head inside these dangerous locales is to get rare items, as well as powerful Pokémon spawns. Space-Time Distortions are basically the endgame way to catch rare Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus. In fact, these timeline-bending anomalies are the only way to catch several Pokemon that otherwise shouldn’t exist in this game’s time period. Pokémon from various generations dot the landscape here, and you need to head inside to catch them. It can be pretty tough if you’re not prepared, so come loaded for proverbial bear.
The goal here is to head into the more dangerous zone and take on the more aggressive Pokémon. Bringing your A-game is advised, as some of them can be pretty tough to take down. They also love to fight, so bring plenty of healing items.
