Developer Gunfire Games and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have entered into a new agreement with Gunfire Games’ parent company, THQ Nordic. This agreement will see a full physical release of their newest grim dark title, Remnant: From the Ashes. The game released as an action RPG that took a Victorian setting and some truly horrific enemies to craft a pretty impressive game. The game uses the Unreal Engine to craft quite the immersive experience.
The game originally came out on August 20, 2019 as a digital release for different platforms. The physical release will include the full game for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The physical release of Remnant: From the Ashes will be priced at $39.99, and is due out on March 17, 2020.
This will allow Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic to push the RPG into a new realm of possibility. It will be interesting to see how the game fairs in the already packed month this March. A great variety of games are coming out in Q1 2020, and Remnant: From the Ashes will have some stiff competition.
Remnant: From the Ashes offers dynamically generated worlds that change according to player actions, complete with mountains of quests and various goals to complete. Players are challenged by having to hunt down vicious enemies across four unique worlds. As players gain more power and better gear, and that power can be used to take on tougher bosses. And as the players attempt to beat back an ancient evil from another dimension, there are going to be plenty of things to kill.
