Sony has officially announced its PlayStation Hits line-up of greatest PlayStation 4 sellers that from here on will retail for just $20. An initial selection of fifteen games will be available as part of the PlayStation Hits, each at the new low price-point.Like the older Greatest Hits offering, gamers will be able to recognize these special titles by the red band on the game case.
Those $20 prices will be available “at select retailers across the U.S.” and at “participating retailers” in Canada, respectively, according to Sony. And of course, the company will drop the prices accordingly on the PlayStation Store in both countries.
Here’s the full list of PlayStation Hits games that will debut next week in the US:
- Battlefield 4
- Bloodborne
- Doom
- Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience
- Ratchet & Clank
- Street Fighter 5
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Yakuza 0
Sony has also confirmed that these games are just the first wave of titles due for the special treatment. And it’s great that these high-quality releases will get new life on store shelves. It will be interesting to see what games come in the future at the discounted prices, although nothing has been confirmed about more games at this time.
