Destiny 2: Vulpecula Godroll Guide

Destiny 2: Vulpecula Godroll Guide

Vulpecula has a few new perks that were introduced with Season of the Lost. This means that the Hand Cannon has seen some renewed interest. Players are going to be testing out some new combos on the perks for this weapon. Players seem to love the new reliance on Stasis Crystals to apply conditions to enemies. This weapon can even get some powerful combos with other gear and abilities that scale, as the right perks can help generate these crystals.

How to get Vulpecula in Destiny 2

Since the new season adds the Wayfinder’s Compass as a core mechanic, you will need to make progress on it. That means you need to unlock reward tracks by spending Parallax Trajectory. This resource can be earned by just playing the game, so go gather some up. You can get it as a drop from the final chest by finishing the Astral Alignment event. The reason you want the Parallax is to open that second chest at the end of the event at the cost of 150 Parallax Tracjectory.

There is a guaranteed drop from the first phase of the Tracing the Stars questline, but there is another third way. You can also focus  Umbral Engrams in the H.E.L.M to get a random drop on it. This is the better way for those with a lot of extra resources on hand who don’t want to run events.

What makes Vulpecula so good?

Vulpecula Stats

Being a fast-firing hand cannon, you can do a lot of damage with this thing.

Vulpecula PvP God Roll

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Accurized Rounds
  • Killing Wind, Surplus *(Situational)
  • Harmony, Adagio

Your damage bonus is pretty open here, so with what you like.  Anything that boosts Range without sacrificing other stats is good here. Accurized Rounds is always going to be best when trying to get either combos of Snapshot and Killing Wind/Surplus. The bonus to Range just can’t be beat. Adagio is good for that extra DPS. Some players may prefer to have the bonus applied to Vulpecula when using it as a secondary, in that case, use Harmony.

Vulpecula PvE God Roll

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling
  • Accurized Rounds
  • Encore
  • Headstone

The Vulpecula Godroll has a bit more flexibility here as you want to focus on clearing more than anything else. Clearing mobs is kind of hard with single-shot weapons like this, so you’re going to want to focus on getting as many shots as possible. This means you need to stay at range more often than not. Encore is all about getting those long shots. The more pinpoint you are with your shots, the better you’re going to do. Headstone can make your final blows much more potent by extending DPS with other shots. It’s a great way to round things out.
