Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis discusses future plans in livestream

How to Get Trinite in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

A recent livestream for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis fans revealed a lot about what the developers have planned for the game. The MMO has been kind of stagnant for a good bit, so seeing this was a breath of fresh air for many. The game has been sorely lacking in new content for some time. Since the Western release things have been quiet in terms of new classes to play, as well as zones to explore. The development team is working to accelerate the production of new content to address this problem.

To address that dearth of content, the developers are planning to unveil a new desert region named Retem, coming sometime in December. The region will include many new enemies to fight and content to explore. The story of the new areas will be revealed as we get closer to release. Earlier in the stream, we also got to see a lot of content coming earlier during the month of October.

There’s a new Bouncer class coming on October 13, and the Halloween event, which will start on October 27. There will also surely be events in November and patches deployed to fix bugs.

Smaller updates include new weekly event quests called Urgent Quests, which will be added to the roster. There will surely be more content added, we just lack details. Keep your eyes peeled to see what else develops.
