LEGO DC Super-Villains gets a story trailer
LEGO DC Super-Villains has a brand new story trailer for the upcoming superhero block-breaker.
And just like any other LEGO game, there’s a mix of humor and unique storytelling in this game too. The story itself seems pretty predictable. The Justice League is nowhere to be seen, and a group of super-villains calling themselves the Justic Syndicate are using the ensuing chaos to their advantage, namely to take over the world.
Players will play as a custom-made villain known as the Rookie, who over the course of the game will grow in their powers. Presumably proportional to the number of bricks they manage to collect. And since it’s a LEGO game, expect plenty of dry humor and satire which the franchise is known for when it comes to games.
As a huge fan of the older LEGO Star Wars games, this seems like a lot of fun to me. And if you’re here you probably feel the same.
LEGO DC Super-Villains is set to release for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 16. Check out the new story trailer for the game down below.
