Biomutant has been delayed, but at least we have a new gameplay trailer

Biomutant has been delayed

Excellent 101 and THQ Nordic have been left between a rock and a hard place with Biomutant. The action RPG was originally slated to land on store shelves later this year, but it’s now been pushed back to 2019. The game will now hit PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in summer 2019, assuming there aren’t further issues.

This isn’t the only game to get delay announcements during Gamescom 2018 either. Overkill’s The Walking Dead got pushed back on consoles.

For those that don’t know, Biomutant follows the story of a lone hero as they struggle to cope with an ongoing disaster in their idyllic forest home. The Tree of Life has been polluted by foul forces, and it’s up to the player to help stem the toxic tide. The post-apocalyptic open world setting offers the typical gameplay elements of the genre. Players have full control of their gameplay style, as well as the look of their character. You’ll also spend lots of time doing the RPG grind for gear and levels in Biomutant.
