Jurassic World Evolution pre-orders are now live, check out the trailer

Frontier Developments has announced the release date for Jurassic World Evolution.

The theme park-management simulator will launch for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 12th of this year. A console release is also planned for Xbox One and PS4, coming out on July 3rd. Pre-orders are live on Steam for $54.99 USD.

If you’re interested in picking it up on PC, here are basic requirements:

MINIMUM:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 7 (SP1+)/8.1/10 64bit
    • Processor: Intel i5-2300/AMD FX-4300
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: nVidia GTX 650Ti BOOST/AMD Radeon 7850 (2GB)
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 8 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: Minimum specifications may change during development

Based on Universal Pictures’ iconic film franchise and created in collaboration with Universal Brand Development, the game expands on the official Jurassic World mythology and puts players in charge of cinema’s greatest tourist destination – where they will have the opportunity to create and manage their own Jurassic World.

Jurassic World Evolution places players into the role of the administrator of the isle of Isla Nublar. The player will need to undertake archeological digs to find prehistoric remains, and give the eventually recreated dinos space to roam. You’ll have to tackle various challenges that arise during the course of running your park, logistics, security and more are all going to go horribly wrong at some point..
