Fans of the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive Hideo Kojima game, Death Stranding finally have some new stuff to fawn over with the mysterious new title.
The trailer itself teases some sort of boss fight between the protagonist and a strange thing in a golden mask. That same enemy appears to have the power to control whatever malevolent force that seems to represent the souls of the dead in-universe. Main character Sam will likely encounter this baddie many times over the course of his journey, as well as lots of other weird enemies. Although it’s worth mentioning that Kojima has made it clear that players who are clever can avoid fighting, this is because each potential conflict has multiple solutions, with some of them being non-violent.
We can figure out that this new gold mask guy is voiced by Troy Baker, but we know literally nothing else beyond what we can see in this latest trailer. In short, I still have no clue what is happening in this game.
