How to write and make money off of songs in The Sims 4

With The Sims 4 you can do a lot of different jobs and entertainment tasks. The game gives creative and hands-on folks looking to have fun in the life sim tons of potential to mess with. One of many areas that players can mess with is to write and make money off of songs in The Sims 4. The system actually has a ton of depth too.

You first need to get to the point that you can write songs before you become a pro songwriter in the game. This means you will need to jump into the skills system and start practicing. The songwriting and other music aspects are just like any other

To start, you will need a guitar, piano, whatever instrument you wish to use. Just head to the device and click “Write Song” on that instrument. This will have your Sim spend time playing the instrument and learning how to write better songs. You will, of course, be able to interrupt the process mid-way through, and your Sim will pick up where they left off.

The process works out just like any other skill in the game. With the process of writing and making money off of songs in The Sims 4 players will need to spend some time with it to make a decent living. It takes a few in-game hours to write a full song, and you will need to reach level nine in the instrument you’re learning before you can sell the songs for cash, so keep that in mind. So it will take some time, but putting in the effort will be worth those sweet simoleons.

When you write a song with an instrument that you have the rank in, the finished song will spawn in your Sim’s inventory as a sheet of music. Level nine is when you unlock the ability to sell the song itself.

To sell it, you need to step over to the mailbox. Use the mailbox to license a song. It will play for a week and get you between 200 and 800 simoleons each morning at 10 AM.
