Hexenon is one of the new resources introduced in Warframe’s Jovian Concord update. The primary use of this resource is for crafting the new weapons and other gear of this patch. The Fulmin, Komorex, and Cyanex all require Hexenon to build. You will also need it to build the new Warframe, Wisp.
As the Warframe wiki describes it, “Hexenon is a resource of Corpus origin, a byproduct of the gas extraction process of Jupiter’s refineries. It can be acquired from any enemies or loot caches as well as Extractor drones on Jupiter, or as a potential reward through Disruption.” That right there lays out a few potential sources for this rare resources, but we’ve got the best place across the entire Star Chart to earn all of the Hexenon you will ever need.
How To Get Hexenon
As with any farming in Warframe, you’re going to be doing a ton of it. And yes, you should focus on doing this as fast and efficiently as possible. This means picking a frame that both does great DPS and has some survivability to deal with the increased challenge of Dark Sector missions. For frame choices, most people would recommend Hydroid, Khora or Nekros. Hydroid’s Pilfering Swarm, Nekros’ Desecrate, and Khora’s Pilfering Strangledome abilities all speed up resource farming a bit here. And with the 20% boost from Dark Sectors, this is a pretty easy farm once you get used to it.
Dark Sector Missions are the best for this farming of Hexenon. there’s a few reasons for this. Cameria or Sinai nodes on Jupiter are Infested enemy type missions. And Infested are usually a bit easier to take down due to their faster speed, meaning you can clear the mission a bit faster. Just keep killing enemies as fast as possible, every five minutes a random buff will be applied to the players, make use of this to speed up farming in long sessions.
