The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Week 1 challenges are here. That means players have a bunch of new things to hunt down.To get a Shield Potion from a Mending Machine is one of these tasks. This Epic Quest is joined by a great many other tasks in Week 1, be sure to get them all done this week.
The best place to go is to the Mending Machine in Believer Beach (formerly Sweaty Sands). This one is located right on the main road heading into the POI from the western road. The machine is to the left of the main road. Just look on the sidewalk.
There are others all over the map. If you see a blue vending machine with a cross on it, that’s the machine that you’re looking for. Wherever you find one, just run up to it.
When you find one of these machines, run over and interact with it using the main interaction button on your platform. Once you press the button, a radial menu will pop up with the options that the machine has. It doesn’t matter what size of Shield Potion you buy to complete the challenge. It can even be a basic Mini Shield Potion or something else, as long as it’s the right type of item.
Once you have the potion in hand, that should knock out this Epic Quest. Now you can get on to the rest of the list.

- Legendary Quest – Converse with Sunny, Abstrakt, Dreamflower, Riot, or Bushranger (Step 1)
- Legendary Quest – Collect Stone from The Aftermath (Step 2)
- Legendary Quest – Collect different IO Tech weapons (Step 3)
