How do car invitations in Gran Turismo 7 work?

Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 is taking everything to 11. Ever since the first PlayStation release all those years ago, supping up your cars has been a big part of succeeding in races. And now that the franchise has come to the PS5, things are heating up. Not only can you change and alter the look and cosmetic parts of your car with thousands of paint colors and more, but there’s so much under the hood to be done. Beyond just making your cars faster, you will need to tune the UI and gameplay experience to your liking

And in addition to all of that, there’s the ability to unlock new cars. Unlike previous games, GT7 gives you a few options to gain new cars for your garage. Not only can you buy new ones with Credits, but you can also get them via car invitations in Gran Turismo 7.

The most important thing to know about this is that these invitations are limited-time. Once you get one of these, you need to redeem it ASAP. These invitations are either rewarded by simply playing the game, as they are part of some Menu Book rewards, or as a Roulette Ticket unlock. From there, you can spend the ticket to get the invite via the Garage’s Gift tab. Once a car invitation is given, you will have two weeks to purchase the vehicle through Brand Central. Once that window closes, the car will no longer be guaranteed for sale. You will have to wait until RNG lands in your favor and have the car spawn in either the used car shop or other methods instead.

Once you get that new car, feel free to test drive it around. It’s also possible to customize many elements of the cars in this game. Your main goal will be to make the car faster, but there’s much more to this game than part upgrades. There are many other things you can customize as well. Your livery on your cars can obviously be tuned to your liking. There are just a lot of cars that you can tune and upgrade. Being able to customize the look of your driver is a new option this year as well. It’s even so detailed that you have to wash your cars.
