Weapon Swapping is coming for killers in Friday the 13th: The Game

Friday the 13th: The Game is getting a new update soon, and Gun Media have released a teaser showing off the terrifying Jason and some of his new abilities.

Friday the 13th: The Game has received constant support and updates from the devs, and it continue to be relatively popular, even though its player numbers have dropped significantly.

Friday the 13th: The Game released on May 26, 2017 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. And this new update aims to make the killer more versatile. Currently, each Jason has a unique weapon and set of kill animations, this new feature allows players to create a unique loadout for when they play Jason.

Here’s the official statement from Gun Media on the upcoming weapon and kill swapping feature…

“Killer Accessories… Have a favorite Jason, but wish you could change his weapon? Would you love to see Part 3 Jason perform a Part 6 kill? You’re in luck (victims, not so much). Coming soon, Jason players will be able to choose their weapon from the player customization screen…. Mix, Match, and Slash!”

This needed level of player customization allows for a new layer of strategy and variety for players. It will be fun to see how players adjust to a much more deadly killer. The development team did not specify a release date for the update, but did say that it will be coming soon.
