Fans have really been enjoying Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 and its myriad challenges. There’s still a little life left in the season, but it’s about to wrap up. And that means Season 6 is about to begin. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is almost here. Let’s talk about what Epic has planned and see what’s coming for the mega-hit battle royale game.
When does Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 start?
Well, according to Epic Games, the Season 5 Zero Point Battle Pass is slated to end Monday, March 15.
Season 5 will continue until around March 16. Season 6 might start either that day or the next. Fortnite usually begins its Seasonal runs on the same day as a current one ends, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Usually, unless there’s a bug or other problem, things remain the same. Also, Epic has been known to extend seasons for the sake of events as well.
So far, details about what the next season will contain are pretty scarce, Epic has kept things under wraps and the leakers haven’t had a crack at the content yet. When Epic pushes the next patch to the game which includes Season 6 content, we can be sure that the game will get datamined for clues. As a result, we will have to wait for the details on the map changes and new storyline that are sure to come.
Season 5 has been great, but 2020 forced it to run a bit long in the tooth. Players want something other than the zero point to muck about with.
