Darksiders is one of those franchises that undoubtedly deserves its cult following. The Action Adventure series has a lot of style and substance behind its relatively simple gameplay mechanics. The hack-and-slash style is coming back hard with a new Collector’s Edition as well. The game was originally announced at E3 2018, and now we have some more details to gawk at,
But since the bankruptcy filing of THQ Nordic, the franchise has been stuck in a bit of a limbo much to the chagrin of fans. But THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have come flying back into action with the Xbox One and PS4 release of Darksiders 3. We’ll just have to wait and see if this new edition lives up to the hype.
This new version depicts new protagonist Fury as they rip through legions of enemies across heaven and hell. We get to see various weapons and abilities over the course of the clip, which can be seen below.
Darksiders 3 is currently available on Xbox Live for digital customers. There are three versions to choose from: a standard edition, a deluxe edition, and a “Blades & Whip” version.
All three versions include a bonus armor skin with each pre-order. Meanwhile, the non-standard editions offer 24 hour early access. Other features are detailed below:
