Treyarch released the first trailer for the Zombies mode in the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 4. That trailer was all about story and background lore. Today, we go another trailer to feast our eyes on, and this one is much more grim and action-heavy.
OK, so it’s actually the opening cinematic for the Zombies game mode, but there are some details we can glean. It turns out that this mode, Blood of the Dead, is a reimagining of the Zombies campaign from Black Ops II. This mode also brings back heroes from the last three games. So we’ll have a nice bloody reunion with Richtofen, Takeo, Dempsy, and Nikolai. This group of wonders have broken into the blood-soaked ruins of Alcatraz, and things have gone very poorly indeed for the team of adventurers.
It will be interesting to see what new puzzles, enemies and environmental challenges throw at players in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess. If you can’t wait, there is a beta coming up soon for the game, although this first round won’t include the Zombies mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to be released on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Check out the Blood of the Dead trailer down below.
