Helicopters were added to Fortnite some time ago. They’re a good way to fly around the map, although they might too rich a target for some players, they still get a lot of use as quick and tough transport. Though they lack weaponry, they can move an entire Squad around with ease. They’re also very common around the map, making them useful for Duos and Squad matches where you need to move around in a hurry. The Helicopter locations in Fortnite are constantly changed from season to season, so some players might want to know where they are.

If you’re taking part in a Solos game, the Helicopters are a little less useful. They do have some advantage of slower boats and other vehicles, although without offensive weapons they’re very vulnerable. They’re also very vulnerable when landing. And no, you can’t jump out of them over land, you’re not low enough to survive the fall. They’re fast though, so it might be worth the risk.
People will be able to see you coming, and will take shots at you when you’re flying over, so be aware of that. The vehicle has 1,500 Health so it can withstand some ground fire. More heavy weapons may be able to knock it out though.
The Helicopters can also buzz items and players with their blades, causing damage. These are a great way to get some funny kills if that’s your thing.
