Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will be free

Battlefield 1 premium pass free

Electronic Arts and DICE have announced that the Premium Pass is going to be free this month. With the release of Battlefield V incoming, EA and DICE are looking for any advantage to the bottom line with the game’s release. And even though the game got pushed back a month earlier this year, there’s still a strong chance for the game to succeed.

But this isn’t about Battlefield V, it’s really about looking out for the bottom line by encouraging more players. According to a recent announcement, the Premium Pass for Battlefield 1 will be given away for free from September 11 to 18.

Here’s what you get when to pick this thing up:

You’ll be granted access to all the maps, weapons, vehicles, and more from the four Battlefield 1 expansions — They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse. This means access to 16 multiplayer maps, new Operations and game modes, powerful Elite classes, and more.

What effect this will have on player numbers and long-term growth, but it will be interesting to see what happens next.

In other Battlefield news, there’s some more beta tests for Battlefield V incoming as well.
