Where to Find & Farm Root Resin in Elden Ring

What to do with the Remembrance of the Omen King in Elden Ring

As you level up and get stronger in Elden Ring, there are going to be enemies that you have trouble with. When you run into some kind of road block, maybe some new gear can help. You can find many powerful items in this game, some are bought, and some are crafted. Having a good supply of healing items is also important as well. But beyond those healing options, you might need some more damage.

One of the most common items to get a free damage boost is the various Grease items. There are types of Grease in Elden Ring that will add a certain elemental effect to a weapon. This can help a lot against certain bosses. Keep reading to learn how to get an infinite supply of Root Resin in Elden Ring for all your crafting.

Finding & Farming Root Resin In Elden Ring

Players can find Root Resin throughout several areas around the map. It’s most common in the starting areas of the game. You can find Root Resin in Limgrave, Weeping Peninsula, Murkwater Catacombs, Stormfoot Catacombs, and Stormhill.

And not only can you get your hands on some out in the world, but it can also be easily bought. You can buy it for just 50 Runes apiece. But if you want to farm a bunch of it, that can be expensive. If you use a build that uses a lot of Grease items for damage boosts, that can be annoying.

Once you’ve made it to Stormhill past Limgrave, there’s actually a good spot to farm more of this stuff. The Warmaster’s Shack is located just to the west of Saintsbridge, that’s where you’re headed. Once you find the Warmaster, make sure to visit the Site of Grace out front. There’s a tree directly in front of the Grace that has more Root Resin at its base. Most times, you can refresh resource spawns by resting at the nearby Site of Grace. But if you find it not being refreshed, you need to reload the zone. Simply fast travel out of the zone and then back to the shack, and it should respawn.
