2K Games has been driving the hype train rather hard for Borderlands 3, offering up trailers and news aplenty to get gamers excited about the new loot shooter. This week, we’re getting another shovel full of coal into the engine of hype with a batch of character trailers that take a deep dive into the history and motivations of a new batch of vault hunters.
One of these hunters is Zane the Operative, a mercenary with an impressive suite of abilities. Zane can utilize a variety of offensive and defensive abilities, which makes him great as a support or DPS role in a party. He can use a deployable Barrier to block damage, while also redirecting incoming fire with his Digi-Clone decoy. These abilities make him a pretty good defensive option as well.
And yes, 2K plans to release similar trailers for Moze the Gunner, Amara the Siren, and Fl4k the Beastmaster, the other playable characters. And in the past the developer has pushed out gameplay footage of some characters too, so that’s there if you want to see it.
Borderlands 3 will release on September 13 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can see the Zane trailer down below, and you should take a look.
