Warframe teases new expansion, including ship-to-ship combat
So Digital Extremes was on-hand during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019 to debut a little bit more details about the future of their popular shooter, Warframe. Warframe Empyrean is the newest content update headed to the game. And aside from the typical new missions, gear and Frames, there’s a major new element of gameplay being introduced: ship-to-ship combat in space.
This expansion was teased at TennoCon, the fan convention for the game, last year. It had the name Railjack then, as was billed as a roadmap for what developer Digital Extremes had in store for the future of the shooter. And it is just being teased again at E3 2019. The full reveal of the new content will take place in July at TennoCon.

To get players hyped, DE is even giving away some pretty cool free stuff. Players can claim a free Nekros Prime Frame for one thing. And since Warframe is a game built around creating highly customizable builds based on a variety of Frames, like the newly introduced Wisp, this is something players want to claim if they have the chance. Frames in this game are a bit like classes in a more traditional RPG, and the insane detail you can tweak on both a gameplay and aesthetics level makes having as many as possible a distinct appeal for many players.
To claim your free Nekros Prime, all you have to do is link your Twitch account to your Warframe account via the DE website.
