The Sims 4 community had the chance to choose the name for the new pack too, and this is what why chose.
The Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack is due soon, but we have no idea when. EA has yet to detail a release date for the Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack. The Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack is still in active development, so it could be a while though. The dev team has teased a few elements coming in the release, like the Focus Stereo Station which will boost games for Sims in Focus-based pursuits.
Crafting and hobbies are the big focus of this new DLC. This new pack, among the many other bits of content, focuses on improving the personality and lifestyle of your sims by giving them new hobby options. One new element is that players will now be able to further customize their clothing options. These additions also expand to new buffs to your digital denizens, like tying the Energized buff to more creative pursuits and certain items.
So all in all, it looks like your Sims will basically be able to run their own Etsy store, at least in your own headcanon, as it doesn’t look like there will be new jobs added, at least not yet.
The new items and gameplay elements also tie into the new Eco Lifestyle Pack, the next major expansion for the game.
