There's an Xbox One X bundle coming for the Metro games

So it turns out that the news regarding the Metro saga of games isn’t quite over today. Microsoft has announced that a bundle including a console and other goodies for the games will be coming alongside the launch of the latest entry of the franchise.

The bundle itself is comprised of the Xbox One X console, including a normal version of the controller. And yes, the console includes 1 TB of storage and the ability to render 4K visuals. There’s also a free trial period of both Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass included in the bundle for new accounts.

The bundle includes all three games in the franchise, and will launch on the same day as the newest title, Metro: Exodus. The remastered Xbox One versions of the first two games–Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light–will also be included in the set. And here’s the best part, the whole thing only costs $499.99, the same as the basic Xbox One X console. So that means digital games essentially come with the console for free.

In other news, Metro: Exodus is also getting a photo mode to allow players to capture some great memories of their adventures through the frozen wastes of the Moscow environs.

The game is also being offered in multiple special editions. There’s the Spartan Collector’s Edition for the upcoming Metro Exodus. This is a super limited-print edition, with only 4,000 in total being produced. Because of this, it has a really premium price tag of $149.99 plus shipping cost. If you want to get the bundle with the Aurora Limited Edition, which comes with a Steelbook, an artbook, and the game’s expansion pass, included instead of just the base game, the bundle’s initial price before shipping will rise to $234.99.

This Xbox One X bundle will release alongside Metro Exodus next month on February 15. The game will be out for both PS4 and Xbox One when it comes out.
