The Jackbox Party Pack 7 launches in late 2020

Jackbox Party Pack 7

Jackbox Games, the developer behind some of the best mini-game compilations in modern gaming, has announced the release window for their new collection, and it’s coming quite soon. According to the developer, there’s a window set for Fall 2020 for Jackbox Party Pack 7, the latest of the trivia and party-game collection from Jackbox Games. The developer already built a solid brand from the previous iterations in this franchise, so we can expect more of the same this year.

As far as we know right now, there will be five new games within this bundle, and the developer says it will launch on “the same platforms” as Jackbox 6. This means that PC, as well as all the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and iOS ports are on the table. There’s even a chance we will see mobile and Smart TV ports like the previous ones for Comcast XFinity and Android TV.

The Jackbox Party Pack series has become synonymous with wacky party games and interesting trivia in a fusion of mobile and online gaming. The core idea is that a group of players tell crude jokes via the trivia and art-based games that comprise the collection. You can even watch online using the lobby system. Each yearly version offers updated visuals and reworked variants of the games included in the previous year, as well as new additions each year.

The developer has been pretty light on the details as to what this new collection entails, as well as many other details about this upcoming release in later 2020. The studio did promise that they will release more details “in the coming months,” which means that gamers and fans of the series can expect exact release date and pricing details in addition to the roster of games for the bundle sometime soon.
