Bandai Namco has revealed the first official gameplay for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization on the Nintendo Switch at a stage event during the Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Fall Festival. The footage is just a short teaser of the Switch port, but it’s nice to see. The game is based Sword Art Online: Alicization, so we get to see a bit of the hero Alice in action.
The story of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization follows players as they adventure through Sword Art: Origin, a new VRMMO based on the original Sword Art Online MMO. The events of the game are actually pretty similar to that of the original Sword Art Online arc, but with a few surprises thrown in. Many of the characters from the main anime arcs are in the game as well as Alice. So expect to see Kirito, Lisbeth, Asuna and many more over the course of the story.
