The Santatron Station is a nice little festive item in Fallout 76. The Santatron Station, while it works like any other Collectron Station, has a special perk. The premium item can sometimes find randomized holiday-themed loot as well. It’s a great little addition to a base if you can get it. While you’re playing the game and out roaming the map, the Collectrons remain at your C.A.M.P. and collect loot passively. Special premium versions like this one are sometimes given out via a few methods. You can sometimes find them as event or pass rewards. But in the case of the Santatron, it’s a purely premium item.
How to get the Santatron Station in Fallout 76
So, the only way right now to get this item is to pay for it. You could try and wait to see if it will be given out via a special event, but that doesn’t always happen. You can also get it via the Atomic Shop. This is the method most people will use, as it’s much faster. You can actually get it for free for a short time. The Santatron Station is a free item you can claim from the Atomic Shop for one week starting from December 21, 2021.
The station’s container will produce one random item every seven minutes and 20 seconds. These items include toys, candy, and, when the Holiday Scorched community event is active, holiday gifts.
What’s in the gifts?
The small holiday gift, holiday gift, and large holiday gift are consumables in Fallout 76. They were first introduced in the Nuclear Winter update, and their functionality changed in the Steel Dawn update. Each box has a chance to contain a random assortment of items. The items will mostly be relegated to the Holiday Scorched rewards.
- Holiday Junk – Coal, Toys, sports gear and more. Use for crafting materials.
- Goodies – Food items and medical items from a random selection. Includes alcohol, grenades, Stimpaks and more.
- Holiday Rewards – Special cosmetics such as the Communist Commander gear, icicle lights, sleeping bags and more.
- Caps and Legendary Scrips
- Ammo for your current weapon
