Oshawott Community Day is the prime community event for Niantic’s Pokémon Go, coming up next month. Pokémon Go sure does love these in-game events, so it’s no surprise a new batch is coming in September 2021. The new event will follow the same template of previous months. Here’s what we know about the September 2021 Oshawott Community Day in Pokémon Go.
Pokémon Go Oshawott Community Day Details
The event will of course get boosted spawns of the star Pokémon, as well as a few other special tidbits. Gifts and stickers get a themed boost, for example. Players who head out and spin Pokéstops for Oshawott Community Day will get stickers and Gifts including themed drops. Nice little boost there if I say so.
The core gameplay is around Oshawott, with players able to get boosted spawns. Trainers that get their hands on special Shiny spawns if they use a Rainy Lure module. Also, Evolution and move bonuses will be in effect. If you evolve Oshawott to Samurott while the event is live, Samurott will get Hydro Cannon as a unique move. Razor Shell will also be added to the possible move list for Oshawott spawns moving forward.
There are also likely to be special events running during the event window as well. Expect rewards for captures and snapshots, with other stuff always possible.
Paid premium items will once again be part of the fun. the Community Day Box will be available for 1,280 PokéCoins, and will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Rainy Lure Modules, and an Elite Fast TM. If you feel like going for your full potential, you can pay a small fee of $1.00 to unlock the limited-time Community Day Field Research Task, “From Scalchops to Seamitars.” Completing this will include a few special rewards, including a free Rainy Lure Module.
The event is due to run on Sunday, September 19th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. You only get the boosts during that time, so be ready.
