Nintendo Switch Online service getting three new games next week

Nintendo Switch Online Trailer NES Games

Nintendo has announced that three more games are being added to the offerings of retro games on the Switch. Nintendo has announced that it will release three new games every month, and the first three will be added next week.

Fans of retro sport titles have something to look forward to with the introduction of NES Open Tournament Golf and Super Dodge Ball. Solomon’s Key offers some appeal for gamers who want more fiendishly difficult retro puzzle games on the Switch.

We also got some news about the games that will be added over the next couple of months as well. Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee will also be added in November. Wario’s Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of Lolo will all appear on the service in December. No news on what games will be added in 2019 yet, but we can expect more games to be added in the future.

It seems like Nintendo want to make the Switch online service more appealing to those gamers looking for a dose of nostalgia. And while titles like Rocket League and Splatoon 2 are offering some competitive multiplayer on the Switch, the platform still needs more support from these kinds of titles if it wants to steal customers away from the much more appealing offerings of Playstation Plus and Xbox Live Gold.
