Genshin Impact has a ton of items you can collect and recipes you can craft. A big part of the process involves going around the map and collecting things. Players also get to experience a variety of quests and other stuff to get into the game deeper. The game has a ton of stuff to do, and MiHoYo has been getting things put into the game at a faster rate. As the later updates drop. they add new characters. And with those comes new Ascensions.
Where to get Vajrada Amethyst Fragment
The item can be found all over, and it’s pretty easy to get to. You need to gather some specific items in the right volumes and combine them together.
To get Vajrada Amethyst Fragments, you need to harvest them directly from bosses, namely the Level 40+ Electro Hypostasis. You could also craft them together. To get them from Electro Hypostasis, you need to find these bosses and beat them in battle. They can be found in the Mondstadt region, just south of Cape Oath.
To craft them you need to find three Vajrada Amethyst Slivers and combine them together. These are also harvested from the same Hypostasis boss. You don’t need to farm the Fragemnents directly, you can just farm the Slivers and combine them.

What to use Vajrada Amethyst Fragment for
You use the baseline Slivers to upgrade those into Vajrada Amethyst Chunks, and then use those Chunks to make Vajrada Amethyst Gemstones. There are escalating uses, and you can use the Chunks and Gemstones as character Ascension materials. You can also farm the Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone from level 75 variants of the aforementioned boss.
You can use these items to upgrade the following party members:
- Beidou: 4 star rarity
- Fischi: 4 star rarity
- Keqing: 5 star rarity
- Lisa: 4 star rarity
- Razor: 4 star rarity
There’s also an easy way to find pretty much any resource in the game. The community has created an online interactive map that lists all the spawn locations for all the different items, Geoculus locations, Statues of the Seven, and much more.
