How to complete the Resolution Challenge in BitLife

When it comes to the New Year, folks will set plenty of resolutions for 2021. And that’s kind of true for gaming as well. With New Year’s events in various games, mobile life sim BitLife also wanted in on the fun. The event for the game comes in the form of another weekly challenge, scheduled to begin in the game this week to celebrate the end of 2020. Here’s what you need to do to complete the Resolution Challenge in BitLife.

Each one of these is pretty easy, you just need to time them right. As you’re playing the game, you have the option to “age up”. That means going to the Age button on your in-game profile and aging by one year. That’s what refreshes a lot of the processes in the game. The mobile sim will refresh many lists and tasks when you do this, so keep it in mind. This will be key to try the challenge. If you age up before you finish the tasks, you will need to start all over.

How to complete the Resolution Challenge in BitLife

To finish up the Resolution Challenge in BitLife, you need to do the following things in one year in-game:

  • Go on a diet
  • Go to the Gym 10 times
  • Read 10 books
  • Meditate 10 times
  • Go to the club and abandon the diet

Each of these can be completed in pretty much any order, but it’s best to focus on the Gym and dieting stuff first. When you age up, check the Activities tab to begin. You can change your diet within that area in the profile under the Mind & Body section. The more expensive differences from each diet are how much you need to spend on maintaining them. The more expensive the diet doesn’t appear to matter. As long as you keep the diet up, this part of the challenge will be complete.

When you finish that up, keep the diet up, and then move into the Gym. Back in the same Mind & Body section, look for the Gym option and pay your membership fees. It costs $20 each time, just repeat this 10 times. From there, it’s time for more mind-based activities. You need to improve your intellect and get more centered with some reading and meditation.

Reading a book is easy, and you just need to do it 10 times. The easiest way to complete this task is to head to the Activities section and find a list of books to read. You will find the “Read a book” option in the same previously mentioned screen. The player can choose a book for their character and tap the screen to read the pages. This can improve Smarts for the character. This is kind of annoying as you need to repeatedly tap the screen of your device to complete the book. Do this 10 times to finish the task. While you’re doing this, be sure to use the Meditation activity and raise your Health and Karma scores. Do that 10 times as well.

It’s weird, but once you have finished everything else, you kind of need to fall off the wagon. It’s a very weird message to send, and it’s just one of those things. You need to head to a club and abandon your diet. Go to a club and get drunk, and you’re good to go. So enjoy that break and you will have finished the entire challenge.

Once you’ve done all of that, the challenge is complete, and it’s time to continue your digital life.
