Warner Bros. Interactive has announced the continuation of the HITMAN franchise via a livestream today.
The game will put a lot more effort into creating immersive levels for players to assassinate their targets in. These levels will take place in evermore exotic locales which much of the same immersive gameplay choices that the series has become known for. Another new feature for HITMAN 2 will be the Sniper Assassin mode which brings co-op to the series for the first time. Two players will have to work together to take down targets. The mode will also be playable solo as Agent 47.
As for story, the Shadow Client is back, and Agent 47 wants to take him down. Maybe we’ll finally learn what hold the Shadow Client has over 47, and maybe we’ll finally peel back the layers of the onion that are the shady dealings of the ICA.
