God Eater 3 release date confirmed
The action game series that fans compare to Monster Hunter, with much faster combat, is coming to the west soon. God Eater 3 finally has a release date of February 8, 2019.
Bandai Namco released a new trailer announcing the news and to showcase some new bits of gameplay. Just like in previous games, your team of hunters use biologically-enhanced weaponry to take down increasingly vicious monsters. The combat is frantic and skillful, the story and art style are pure “anime” and the overall fanbase is excited.
Games in the God Eater franchise tend to be well-liked by fans, so Bandai Namco has a pedigree to build on with this latest release. The franchise, counting God Eater 3, now has six games in all, although it’s impossible to ignore that several games are in fact just remakes of other games. For instance, God Eater 2: Rage Burst was just a remake of the second game in the series. God Eater Resurrection reworked mechanics and gameplay from another remake of the first game, God Eater Burst, making God Eater Resurrection a remake of a remake in essence. Hopefully the company doesn’t have to release a remake of the latest game to get the mechanics right.
God Eater 3 will be out on February 8, 2019. The game is due for release on PlayStation 4 and PC. Check out the latest trailers for the game below:
