First PC update released for Death Stranding

Death Stranding - Kojima Productions

Kojima Productions and 505 Games have released the first major patch for the PC port of Death Stranding. The patch brings the game to version 1.01, and is a fix for major bugs and performance issues. The game will also get some minor general bug fixes as well. The patch notes for Death Stranding v1.01 are very short and simple. Don’t expect too much detail on what specific issues have been fixed.

All that 505 Games have revealed is that “This post launch patch includes added AVX judgement to CPU check at startup, stability improvements and general bug fixes,” that’s all for the patch notes, really.

505 tell players it ” just contains a lot of small fixes around bugs and stability issues.” 505 say that more details about future patches are coming soon, but aren’t elaborating. They say they rushed the patch out ahead of the weekend to ensure that most players had a better experience during their break from the weekly grind.
