Desperados III teases new character in latest trailer
Mimimi Games and THQ Nordic have just unveiled a bit more news about their upcoming collaboration, Desperados III. This time we’re meeting the mysterious Voodoo practitioner, Isabelle Moreau. A strong believer in fate, she stands as a stark reminder of the grim reality that our unlikely heroes face in the closing days of the Wild West.
This new stealth game is being developed by Mimimi Games and published by THQ Nordic, and it’s actually looks like a very entertaining period version of the tactical action genre. Being placed in the later part of the 19th century, the age of the outlaw is winding down, as the long arm of the law grasps firmer onto power, and chokes out the last bits of resistance.
It’s into this uncertain and dangerous time that the players are inserted in the role of runaway John Cooper. As a fugitive who has to eventually pay the price for his mistakes, he has a chance to redeem himself, and player’s actions will have an impact on that future. As you adventure across the landscape with unlikely allies like runaway bride Kate O´Hara or shady Arthur “Doc” McCoy, you will have to contend with the past that haunts Cooper and his new friends.
Each character has their own unique set of specialties, offering unique and varied solutions to each mission you’ll undertake. And since each mission has multiple challenges and solutions built-in, you’re going to want to approach these situations carefully and with a strong consideration for tactics.
Desperados III is due out for Xbox One, PC and PS4 later in 2019. Check out the new character in action in the trailer down below. We’ve also included an official description of the mysterious new character down there as well. You should check Desperados III out on Steam if it interests you.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Isabelle has mastered the occult techniques of Voodoo. She is able to slip into the mind of her enemies and control their actions. Also she can establish a dark bond between two foes, that let them share the same fate – so if one throat gets sliced, the other one will also bleed out. But these powers come with a price for Isabelle, a blood sacrifice she has to offer whenever she decides to use her powers. She cannot use just any blood for this, as it has to be her very own.
