How to get more ingots, leather and other resources in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

How to get Cat’s Footfall in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a somewhat complex game. With the new factions and relationships systems in place, you need to do a lot of work to keep Elvior in the game, so to speak. Players will have to upgrade their gear, find new items, and farm plenty of resources. In other words, it’s your typical Ubisoft grind. This game is all about that.

One of the best ways to keep up your strength is to upgrade your settlement and gear. Updating your gear as you play means you cause more damage and reduces the damage you take. Having a better settlement plays into this as well, as you need resources. And of the best ways to get resources, including rare drops like Carbon Ingots, is to raid other locations.

To upgrade and enhance your gear, you need certain resources. There are both basic resources, like leather, iron ore, and ingots. But there are also a bunch of other rarer items that need to gained by other means. You might have to go hunting for things like Leather, but you can also find it in other ways.

How to get more Ingots

There are multiple different types of Ingots in the game, and you will need a bunch of each kind to upgrade your gear.

Tungsten Ingots

Tungsten Ingots are the rarest of the crafting materials, as you need them to upgrade gear to Mythical status. Raiding is a good way to try and get some of these. When you begin a raid, the map will mark each treasure chest, you can open these to get various rewards. There’s a small chance that 1-2 Tungsten Ingots can be found in these chests.

And if you want more Carbon Ingots, we have a guide for that.

How to get more Iron Ore

  • Can be bought from the merchant in the Fornburg
  • Can be mined from the wilderness by breaking iron formations.
  • Can be looted from a chest with a locked door in Stavanger
  • In the house with 2 locked doors in Mannskapsangrep
  • Along the road east of Alrekstad would be a ruined house where there would be an item
  • South of Alcestre Monastery, bandit camp will be in the area.

Iron Ore deposits are marked by the brick symbol on the map, and will usually be found within fortified outposts and the like.
