Coriolis: Emissary Lost launches on January 31

The mystics of Coriolis are being hunted, but by who, and why? As scores of mystics have been found dead, or have simply disappeared without a trace, reporters have taken to calling it the Mysticides. This may or may not concern you… until a friend of yours also disappears, making things personal.

This is the beginning of the expansion to the award-winning tabletop role-playing game, Coriolis – The Third Horizon. The expansion is known as Coriolis: Emissary Lost, and is set to change the Third Horizon forever upon release on January 31, 2019.

The title is designed by the same team that created Tales from the Loop, which won five Gold ENnies in 2017 and three Golden Geek awards in 2018, Free League Publishing. Those interested will get Emissary Lost in the form of a 200+ page full-color illustrated book.

When the expansion was up for funding on Kickstarter, the authors were asking for 50,000 SEK, or roughly $5,539 USD. They received more than twenty times this amount, closing the 23 day campaign at 1,119,446 SEK, or roughly $124,021 USD. This allowed the team to successfully reach every single stretch goal that they had set, and still get a bit over.

Emissary Lost is the first of a three part expansion known as Mercy of the Icons, and contains two long-form scenarios for players to go through. The first takes place on Coriolis, the huge space station, where attacks on the mystics are escalating. You and your friends will need to figure out who is behind the conspiracy, all the while avoiding death yourself. As you explore you will travel to quite a few locations, such as the bustling Ozone Plaza and even the dark of the Cellar.
