Nintendo has a rather popular franchise by the name of Animal Crossing, you might have heard of it. The mixture of simulation gameplay, living life and cute animal characters has risen to new heights of popularity over the years. There have been millions of gamers who have enjoyed sending time with their towns and the inhabitants. And with the Switch port, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, finally cresting on the horizon, millions of fans are about to hop back in. Nintendo has just released a new trailer for the game, so let’s dig in and see what we find.

The trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons shows of a few new details. For one thing, fan-favorite Isabelle is back again. Nintendo hasn’t shown much of the game since E3 2019, so we’re happy to get a new look at the title. We finally catch a glimpse of the box art as well, although it is important to keep in mind that it could change for the Western release. The Switch release expands the scope of the game and offers plenty of new features. Some features will not be in the new release though. For one thing, the Switch title will not support cloud saves.

The game was delayed a bit back in June. The delays played a bit of havoc with Nintendo financials. The company lost around $20 overall from its share value, leading to a major downturn in the outlook for the company in the short-term. Although Nintendo has managed to rebound thanks to the raucous success of the Switch platform. The company now trades at more than $50 per share on average.

Check out the trailer below. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently slated to debut on the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020.
