BlizzCon returns for November 2018, tickets on sale in May

BlizzCon is back again this year and Blizzard has now revealed the dates for the event which once again takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in November.

BlizzCon is an epic celebration of Blizzard Entertainment’s game universes and the global player communities that bring them to life. BlizzCon will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Tickets to attend BlizzCon 2018 will be priced at $199 USD (plus applicable taxes and fees) each and will be available for purchase in multiple batches.

First batch: On sale at 7 p.m. Pacific time on Wednesday, May 9.

Second batch: On sale at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Saturday, May 12.

The first BlizzCon ticket sale will take place Thursday, May 10 at 3:00 BST; the second ticket sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at 18:00 BST. Tickets can be purchased for $199 USD each (plus applicable taxes and fees) through the online ticketing service Universe.

Blizzard said it will sell a limited number of tickets to BlizzCon Opening Week — the first time many fans will get to attend those events in person — later this year. And that Opening Week is going to be a big one, with some great events planned.

There’s lot of events planned for BlizzCon in 2018. The expected game announcements is one thing, but with Blizzard focusing so heavily on Esports, we can expect a lot of events and announcements for games like Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. More specifically, the opening week event will include the opening rounds of the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series Global Finals, the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship Finals and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Finals. Those Esports competitions will culminate the following week at BlizzCon, along with the Overwatch World Cup and Hearthstone Global Games.
