Horizon Forbidden West is here, and Sony fans are exploring the massive world. The story of Aloy has already found a ton of bunch of cool stuff. But to find it, you have to do the exploration. The game’s fast travel option certainly makes completing the game easier, so here’s what to do. There are many other travel and exploration options in the game. Players can use grapple hooks and ziplines to get around, getting a bunch of ways to find hidden items.
How to fast travel in Horizon Forbidden West
The thing is, you need to be prepared to put in some work. To fast travel in Horizon Forbidden West, you need to first go within about 20m of a Campfire. That’s the core of the system. Once unlocked, you can use Fast Travel Packs to quickly and easily return to campfires. tying these to the greater world. To actually use this system, you have to buy Fast Travel Packs from various vendors. The problem with this is that in the early game, you won’t be able to afford many of these kits.
The good news is that you can Fast Travel for free from any Campfire you’ve unlocked. Simply go near the Campfire and press Circle. Once you press Circle, a screen will come up showing unlocked spots for fast travel in Horizon Forbidden West. If you’re on the screen, just press the R2 button to teleport Aloy to the correct spot. Then, you can go about exploring the game.
Once you have unlocked a campfire, you can use the in-game map to warp to it, no kit is needed. There’s another way around this problem though. You can actually make a Fast Travel Pack, and they’re pretty easy to get. To craft a Fast Travel Pack, you will need 10 Ridge-Wood and 3 Wild Meat. Unfortunately, the ability to craft them is locked at the beginning of the game. You need to get through the story a bit to get that option.
