Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trailer shows off combat and more

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Trailer

While we’re still a few months out from the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 release date, Nintendo is giving us whole heaps of info on the game. The developer has been hard at work preparing the stylish JRPG for the limelight. The original Xenoblade Chronicles was released in 2010 on the Wii as one of the final big games on that platform. It featured beautiful vistas and a delightful mix of characters that fans fell in love with. Even now, 12 years on, there’s a fair bit of nostalgic love for the franchise.

And with this new game, we’re both going back and moving forward. The open-world structure of the original games will remain, but refreshed for a modern audience. One particular area of focus is making sure the combat is fun and engaging. And to that end, there’s gameplay that’s fresh today showing just that.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is taking players to some locales they might remember from the previous games, and throwing new threats at them in the process. And to show off more detail about this, we got a new trailer today. The newest trailer has dropped, bringing new details about the story and setting to light. This new trailer focuses on combat and what roles both allies and enemies will play in this war-torn world.

The game releases on 29th July for the Nintendo Switch. Until then, be content with the rest of the awesome footage shown about the game. You can check out the release date trailer for the new sequel down below. It details  bit more about the kinds of challenges players will face when the game comes out.

Previous trailers have also been revealed for the game, showing off more action of the upcoming Switch sequel. We have seen a lot of action against generic enemies and bosses within the world of the new JRPG.
