Creative Assembly has revealed the release date for Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia, the newest Total War title will be out on April 19th, 2018.
In addition to the digital download, there will be a Limited Edition physical release. The Limited Edition comes in an embossed Steelbook which has been fittingly inspired by Anglo Saxon helmets. This version will also include a double-sided poster featuring a detailed campaign map and a set of collectible art cards featuring five of the most prominent in-game faction leaders.
Pre-orders are open as of right now with a 10% discount until launch. In a show of good faith, 25% of all profits from pre-order sales will be going to the charity War Child UK.

What is a Total War Saga? Total War Saga games will be the same mix of turn-based campaign strategy, real-time battle tactics and hundreds if not thousands of hours of gameplay as a regular Total War game, but focussed down on a distinct moment.
