Top Gear’s ‘Track-tor’ Coming to Forza; More Details July 1

Top Gear’s ‘Track-tor’ Coming to Forza

Turn 10 has teased racing game fans with a new announcement, one that pretty much anyone whose familiar with iconic car show Top Gear will be excited about. The team has revealed the latest Spotlight vehicle that will feature in their games.

You see, Top Gear has a penchant for crazy stunts and quirky but likable hosts mixing to form the perfect balance of fun, car enthusiasm and comedy. The show has been running for many years and the hosts have pretty much done every car related challenge they can think of. One of the more recent cooky ideas was to create the pinnacle of high performance tractors. And thus the ‘Track-tor’ was born.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out this  insane machine in action down below.

The monster of a vehicle features a 5.7-liter Chevrolet V8 with 500 horsepower, a modified suspension and high-performance brakes. So in short, it will be blitzing around the track at near 90 MPH. That’s roughly the 87.27 MPH land speed record for a tractor by the way. This is the vehicle that set said record too.

Turn 10 haven’t revealed much in terms of details for the new collaboration with the BBC property, but they say fans will know more shortly. The Forza Monthly stream will broadcast on Monday July 1. The stream will kick off at 11am PDT, or 7pm BST for UK viewers. It’s during said stream that the team behind the game will reveal the anticipated content and relevant details.

It is unclear if the “Track-tor” will appear in either Forza Motorsport 7 or Forza Horizon 4, although fans are hopeful for either one. Although given that Forza Motorsport 7  already has a Top Gear car pack, Forza Horizon 4 seems like the stronger candidate.
