Tons of Devil May Cry 5 gameplay released in new trailers

Devil May Cry 5 TGS Dante Trailer

Capcom isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to hyping up the next entry in the much-anticipated Devil May Cry series.

The comapny is even putting in a collaboration with HYDE, one of the most popular Japanese musical acts, into Devil May Cry 5. This isn’t the first time HYDE contributes to Capcom games or the Devil May Cry series either, as L’Arc~en~Ciel contributed the Drink It Down theme song for Devil May Cry 4 in 2008, and the Don’t be Afraid theme song for Resident Evil VR in 2016.

HYDE has also contributed music for other game franchises as well, such as Gundam 00 and Full Metal Alchemist.

In an effort to brew up more excitement, the full Japanese voice cast list for Devil May Cry 5’s main characters was also published:

Dante: Toshiyuki Morikawa
Nero: Kaito Ishikawa
V: Kouki Uchiyama
Morrison: Akio Otsuka
Nico: Lynn
Trish: Atsuko Tanaka
Lady: Fumiko Orikasa
Kyrie: Saori Hayami

But that isn’t all when it comes to releasing new trailers for Devil May Cry 5 this past week. Capcom held a livestream where they showcased a ton of Devil May Cry 5 gameplay featuring Dante.

Said livestream featured tons of gameplay of the stylish and flashy anti-hero slashing and blasting his way through various game levels. There was also some insight into enemy design. It turns out that each basic enemy type has a few different “outfits” or designs, which means you won’t be fighting the same faceless enemy every single time you encounter these types of baddies.

That livestream features plenty more details as well, check it out below.

Devil May Cry 5 releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8, 2019.
